1-Year Appointment

Yesterday was the babies' first birthday (more on that later after we download the pictures), and to celebrate, they got shots and blood drawn! How fun! Ok, they just had their 1-year pediatrician appointment, which went really well. They are both still happy and healthy. Here are their stats:

Fletch:
6 months: 27 inches (66%), 18lbs 12oz (68%)
9 months: 28.5 inches (59.9%), 22lbs 7.7oz (79.4%)
12 months: 30.5 inches (74%), 24 lbs 10 oz (76%)

Piper:
6 months: 25 inches (19%), 15lbs 11oz (39%)
9 months: 27.75 inches (57.9%), 17lbs 13.7oz (32.5%)

12 months: 30 inches (79%), 20 lbs 1.9 oz (34%)

As you can see, Fletch remains a little brute, and Piper is long and lean. Other than the vaccines, the appointment was lots of fun for Piper and Fletch as they explored the doctor's office, crawling around the various tables. At one point, Piper nearly pulled the doctor's laptop off the desk and to the floor (Piper must have thought, "The doctor's laptop is so fun, it's made just for me....."). They both did really well during the entire exam, and the doctor said they are both perfect.
