I'm SO behind on this blog, so in order to catch up, I'm just going to write this catch-all post about our latest birthdays and milestones.

We celebrated with his friends at Skyzone and had a blast. We were so grateful that so many friends from Kindercare and Hayfield were able to come.

And, then I also brought cupcakes to school to celebrate with his kindergarten class.

Shortly after Deacon's birthday, Jasper had his own milestone.

Jasper--18 months
Jasper is full-on toddler at 18 months. He's talking up a storm, and some favorite words include Elmo, No, LiaGar (Lion Guard), BaBa (can be his word for pacifier or water bottle or sippy cup depending on the context), a whole bunch of animal sounds, etc.

He also wants nothing more than to be a big boy like the other kids, and now wants to walk everywhere (don't even think about holding his hand), sit at the dining room table instead of his high chair, and play Nintendo Switch when the other kids are play (he has his own deactivated controller).

Jasper is also growing like a weed. Here is his latest info.

Birth: 7lbs 12 oz, 21 inches
6 days: 7lbs 5oz (31%)
2 weeks: 8lbs 2oz (37%), 20.5 inches (48%)
1 month: 11lbs 3oz (71%), 21.25 inches (27%)
2 months: 12lbs 15oz (70%), 22.25 inches (18%)
4 months: 16lbs 3oz (63%), 25 inches (38%), 18 inches-head (99%)
6 months: 18lbs 8oz (71%), 26.5 inches (45%), 18 inches-head (97%)
12 months: 26lbs 3oz (97%), 31.25 inches (93%), 19.75 inches (99%)
18 months: 30lbs13.5oz (99%), 33 inches (71%)

The best thing that's happened recently is that Deacon has taken on Jasper as "his assistant." I love seeing the relationship they are forming and hope that it continues.
