We started at the Calvert Marine Museum, which is great for little kids. It has a sting ray and skate display, a little hands-on discovery room, a mini-aquarium, boat rides in the summer, a lighthouse you can climb, etc. The kids loved it.
We then headed down to the great boardwalk area where there are little restaurants and beautiful views.
We ate lunch at a seafood restaurant on the water, which was nice although as a New Englander, it certainly wasn't the best seafood that I've ever had.
We finished the day with a trp to the playground on the boardwalk.
And then some ice cream.
We couldn't have asked for a better family day.
