Sweet Jasper turned 6 months about a week ago. Here is how he's growing:
Birth: 7lbs 12 oz, 21 inches
6 days: 7lbs 5oz (31%)
2 weeks: 8lbs 2oz (37%), 20.5 inches (48%)
1 month: 11lbs 3oz (71%), 21.25 inches (27%)
2 months: 12lbs 15oz (70%), 22.25 inches (18%)
4 months: 16lbs 3oz (63%), 25 inches (38%), 18 inches-head (99%)
6 months: 18lbs 8oz (71%), 26.5 inches (45%), 18 inches-head (97%)
He's still such a sweet little guy, and while he loves Eric and me, he really only has eyes for Piper. No one makes him laugh and smile like his big sister, and it's the sweetest thing ever.
Developmentally, he's right on track. Right now, we're at the fun (not) stage where he's learned to roll back to belly, but can't figure out how to roll the other way. This means he's up eleventy million times each night, stuck on this tummy, and we have to flip him like a pancake. This combined with his 6-month growth spurt mean Eric and I aren't getting much sleep this days. Thankfully, his gummy little smile makes up for all of that.
Happy Half Birthday, baby boy!
