Fourth Fun

Our July 4th weekend was a bit of a bust because Piper and Eric were battling colds and the weather was pretty rainy. But, everyone was feeling good enough on Saturday night to go to fireworks and the rain held out long enough for the show to go on.

Just like the past few years, we ate dinner at Bertucci's with Eric's parents and then walked to our spot in Foggy Bottom to watch the fireworks. We got there a little early, and I attempted to take a pick of all three kids.

Then the show started. Here is how Deke spent most of the show.

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the picture of Deke on Eric's shoulders. He just loved the fireworks. Piper and Fletch loved them too, but spent most of the show like this.

We had a great time celebrating and is always one of the highlights of the summer.
